💄 Beginner Makeup for ADHD Girls
(aka the routine that doesn’t make you want to quit halfway through)

Let’s just start here:
I didn’t avoid makeup because I didn’t like it.
I avoided it because:
- there were too many steps
- too many products
- too many opinions
- and somehow everyone on the internet already knew what they were doing
Meanwhile I was just standing there like…
“wait… where does concealer even go?”

🧠 The Real Problem
Makeup isn’t actually hard.
It’s just been taught in a way that assumes you:
- have patience
- enjoy learning techniques
- can follow multi-step routines
So if you have ADHD?
Yeah… no.
😅 My Old Makeup Routine
It was either:
- nothing at all
or
- trying everything → getting overwhelmed → wiping it off → giving up
No in-between.

💡 The Shift That Changed Everything
I stopped trying to learn makeup…
…and built a default routine instead.
Not:
❌ 20 products
❌ 45 minutes
❌ complicated steps
Just:
👉 a few products
👉 always in the same order
👉 easy enough to do half-asleep
💄 The ADHD-Friendly Beginner Routine
This is it. This is the whole thing.

🧴 Skin Tint (NOT Foundation)
👉 foundation for people who hate foundation
Lighter. Easier. Way less pressure.
🔗 the skin tint that made makeup finally feel easy
🖊️ Concealer
👉 the one product that makes me look alive
Under eyes, random spots… done.
🔗 this fixes everything in like 10 seconds
🌸 Cream Blush
👉 impossible to mess up (trust me)
Use your fingers. Blend. Move on.
🔗 this is how I fake being a functioning human
👁️ Mascara
👉 instant difference, zero effort
This is the “oh wait I look better” step.
🔗 the only mascara I actually use consistently
🧴 Brow Gel
👉 because I will never learn how to do brows
Swipe. Done. Looks intentional.
🔗 this makes it look like you tried
💄 Lip Gloss
👉 low effort, still cute
The easiest finishing touch.
🔗 this pulls everything together in 2 seconds
🧠 Why This Actually Works
Because:
- it’s the same every time
- there’s no decision fatigue
- it takes 5 minutes
- and nothing is hard to mess up
😮💨 What It Looks Like Now
Some days:
👉 I do nothing
Some days:
👉 I do this whole routine in 5 minutes
And suddenly I feel like:
- a person
- a functioning adult
- someone who has their life slightly together
(we love that for us)
🤍 If You’ve Ever Said “I Don’t Know How to Do Makeup”
You’re not bad at makeup.
You were just taught in a way that didn’t work for your brain.

🔗 If You’re Starting From Zero…
If even this feels like too much right now — start here first:
👉 my ADHD self care routine that actually works (even on low energy days)
Because honestly?
This only became possible after I:
- started drinking water again
- started washing my face again
- stopped trying to do everything perfectly
🛒 My Exact Beginner Makeup Setup
I put everything into one simple list so you don’t have to overthink it:

🤍 Final Thought
You don’t need to become a “makeup girl.”
You just need a version of it that feels:
- simple
- doable
- and yours
Because sometimes self care looks like:
👉 drinking water
…and sometimes it looks like:
👉 putting on mascara and feeling like yourself again
